Why We Named Them Rock-It-Pop

Why We Named Them Rock-It-Pop

Some names come from marketing meetings. This one came from sticky fingers, sunburned shoulders, and the sound of an ice cream truck echoing down a summer street.

If you grew up eating red, white, and blue rocket pops, you already understand Rock-It-Pop.

Those popsicles were summer. Not a treat during summer — they were summer. You ate them sitting on the curb, on a splintery dock, or wrapped in a towel that was still damp from the ocean. They melted faster than you could eat them, dripping down your wrist while you tried to catch every last bite before it hit the pavement.

They were cold, sweet, and just a little chaotic.

The colors mattered.
Red on top. White in the middle. Blue at the bottom. Everyone knew the order, and everyone had a favorite section. They were patriotic without trying to be, and nostalgic before you even knew what nostalgia was.

That’s where the name Rock-It-Pop comes from.

The earrings take their shape from the buoyant, rounded form you’d see floating near docks and beaches – but their soul comes straight from those rocket pops. They’re playful, bold, and unapologetically summery.

These earrings are a wearable version of that feeling.

They’re for hot afternoons, backyard barbecues, beach walks, and nights when the air still smells like sunscreen and charcoal. They’re for remembering when summer felt bigger, louder, and sweeter – and when a simple frozen treat could be the highlight of the entire day.

Rock-It-Pop isn’t just a name.
It’s a memory.
One that melts a little around the edges – but never really disappears.
